Subhadra Yojana

This Subhadra Yojana is launched by the government of Odisha for women’s empowerment. Here you check eligibility criteria, apply process, check status, beneficiary list, and other benefits and details.

Women’s financial condition in India is largely limited to them not being able to contribute to the household income. This is because they are busy with household duties like cooking, cleaning, buying monthly groceries, taking care of the children and elders, and their husbands. These leave little time for them to earn.

This is the reason the many state Governments in India have brought out schemes to provide money to women directly in their bank accounts, so that this can help in improving the financial status of the households by contributing to the overall income of the families. One such scheme is brought by the Odisha Government, called the Subhadra Yojana. Let us find out what exactly it is and how women can benefit from it.
